United in STEMM (UiS) is an initiative to institutionalize support, learn of students’ needs, and aid in the increase of persistence and graduation rates for the over 2,000 undergraduate students of color in STEMM disciplines currently enrolled at CSU with multiple and intersecting identities. Intersecting identities for students of color may include, but are not limited to: disability, documentation status, gender identity and expression, religious and spiritual beliefs, and sexual orientation.

Please see the University Diversity Statement for additional detail on multiple and intersecting identities.
